My instructions:
1. Connect DKU-5 or normal COM cable to computer
2. Set proper COM cable (must be, between 1 and 9)
3. Download unlocker, run `install.bat`
4. Open file c:/bb5_unlocker/logs/bb5_unlocker.cfg and write here proper COM port (1-9)
5. Run c:/bb5 unlocker/BB5logunlocker.exe
6. Click READ PHONE
7. Click MAKE LOG, log will be created
8. Enter codes to phone (in /psw/ dir), or
9. Click SP UNLOCK to enter codes via FBUS

if you have have entered in the past 3 times an unworked code your phone is blocked then i have the solution don't worry your bb5 nokia phone 6630 6680 6681 N70 N90 is now lockable for free:
If you got unlock codes from your provider and you used all yours 3 attempts
to enter code via keypad then do the following:
into dir "c:\bb5_unlocker\psw" create a file "aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa_BB5.psw" where is "aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa" enter your phones imei
then in that created file enter in the files start "#pw+bbbbbbbbbbbbbbb+c#" where is "bbbbbbbbbbbbbbb"
enter your unlock code and where is "c" enter your logs level number (1-7).
save the file and use "SP UNLOCK" function
this is so simple

i have nokia 6680 and DKU-2 Data Cable and a CA-53 Data Cable(from n70)
i writed com port...1,2,3... after the program started, i pressed read phone and i always get the same error 'bad connection.....'
the software only works with DK5 ?
and is there a difference between DK5 and DKU-5 cables ?
my friend the unlock is with dk5 com cable not dk2 it s writing and clear .
data com cable DK5.
there are no difference between dk5 and dku-5 it's the same

ok.... so i bought a dku-5 cable
but pcsuite doesn't find my phone
i tried uninstalling and installing again... nothing
is there something i missed?

and you must put the data cable on com 2 if you haven-t so open the file
"unlockbb5.cfg" and chage the com port to 1.this programm don t need any driver if you want to help you this is my email adress for msn messenger omrianis@hotmail.com.
i know that pc suite can t find the phone with dku-5.but for unlocking software with dku-5 he can find it do what is in the site and you will able to unlock in seconds.
it's so simple don't panic download the program connect the phone power on read info make log calculate and sp unlock it's done so simple.

i have n80. can i unlock it using ur solution ? when i connect the phone to the pc, mobile requests a mode to work with i.e pc suite, data transfer and pic bridge. so i select pc suite to get it on a port. mine is com4 then i press read phone and it says "wait..." and nothing else happens...
what im doing wrong ?
you said pc suite friend don t use dku 2 use dk U5 and follow the instruction for changing the port for the programm it s simple

Any cable that lets you set a com port in the device manager should work with dejans and the modded software,
you need the config file set to the same com port as the cable driver,
using the modded software will be safer as you can view the generated unlock codes and then enter them manualy to the phone without having to click spunlock or write backup.
this way no data is wrote to the phone so there is no chance of killing it by bad cable or un supported phone.
it would be wise to copy the backup file made when you click make logs before running the bb5calc.exe then if you break ur phone you have a backup
incase you get spdata corrupted dont click make logs untill you click write backup and read phone untill you see your phone info restored as make logs will write the corruped spdata to the backup.

no it s not a problem of version of n 70 if the programm read imei then press make log after that press calc and finally sp unlock.the phone must be without sim card on it.test it it work and approved or delete the program and install it another time and set the proper com.

which cable do you use.it must be data com cable not usb.dku5.also the phone must be on.if you have entered the code manually three times or you have sp corrupted than red in this blog you will find the solution if nothing happing .i will help you.
Will dku 5 fit n70?
yes he fit n70 but for unlock only not for data and ringtone

you can try but you must have driver and the com port you must change it fromdevice manager after installation of the driver see modem you must find nokia modem see properties and change the port com to number 3 per example after that change it from the programm from the file bb5.cfg that cn be opened by notepad .
hey even i have unlocked my 6680 thanx to this man.... i read his post and cud do it.....before that i was in the same condition in what u were......try try...it will surely get unlocked..........
but i am facing problems with 6630....
my 6630 has got rap3g 4.03.18 version and bb5 is for v 2
what should i do .....?? i have a nokia code calculator .i have given the 7th and the 1st but when i gave my first generated code it rebooted. i thot the network lock has gone...... but it wasnt..
